K-9 Public School Opening Delayed to January 2018

The Edmonton Public School Board announced that the opening of the new K-9 Public School in Granville will be delayed until January 2018. As a result of this delay, students will start the 2017-2018 school year at Michael Phair School. On January 8, 2018, students and staff will move together to Kim Hung School. During this time of transition, the students and staff will have their own space for classes just like they would at their own school building.

Edmonton Public Schools will provide yellow bus service to all Kim Hung students who need it at no cost while they attend Michael Phair School. For questions about yellow bus service, contact Student Transportation at 780-429-8585. Out-of-school care options are also being explored.
