New K-9 Public School Announced

The Edmonton Public School Board has announced that a new Kindergarten to Grade 9 school will be built in Granville for 900 students. This is great news for the residents of Granville who will not only enjoy having a school within a short walking distance, but will also enjoy the benefit of a new school park with sports fields and potential amenities such as a spray park, hockey rinks, tennis courts, or a community league centre. The school is scheduled to commence construction in late 2015 and be completed by 2017.  We are advised that funding for both design and construction have been approved, with testing and design already underway.
